Payroll Processing Requirements
To ensure timely and secure compensation for all staff, TreasureLand has established the following payroll policies:
ποΈ Pay Schedule
All employees will be paid once per month, on the last calendar day of each month.
If the last day falls on a weekend or holiday, payroll will be processed on the last business day prior.
π³ Direct Deposit Requirement
Direct deposit is mandatory for all employees.
Wages will be deposited directly into the employeeβs designated checking or savings account.
Employees must complete and submit a Direct Deposit Authorization Form prior to their first pay cycle.
π§Ύ Pay Stubs & Deductions
Digital pay stubs will be made available via email or employee portal.
All applicable taxes, benefits, and authorized deductions will be withheld in compliance with federal and state laws.

The ECE/CDA Teacher is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as aa1well as their educational needs. Prepares and follows a curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices that helps each child reach their fullest potential in all areas of development. Maintains observation records and other required classroom logs correctly. Knowledge and understands all health and emergency policies of the program and is ready to implement them if necessary. Shows initiative in the improvement of early childhood education, the program, and the curriculum by sharing ideas and participating in available trainings. Maintain a professional attitude at all times. Maintain appropriate communication and professional relationship with staff, children, and families at all times.

Minimum Qualifications
A passion and love for children; a committed to provide a high-quality, early educational foundation for children lifelong success. The ability to manage a diverse group of children. The dedication to build and strengthen relationships/partnerships with children, families, co-workers and the community. Continuous professional growth and development to maintain an understanding of best practices of childcare regulations and practices. Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders. Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the centerβs policies and procedures;
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
Well-organized and committed; Creative and energetic;
Strong moral values and discipline; and
Knowledge of CPR
Education: High School diploma/general educational development (GED); must have experience working with young children, or 12 hours of equivalent training in Early Childhood Education/Child Development; or 6 months to 1 year of work experience in childcare is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years Early Childhood Education Experience or Training; Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential through the Council for Professional Recognition; Child Care Professional (CCP) certification through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation; Child Development Applied Science Degree (AAS); Child Development Short Term Certificate: or degree in a related field with two years of post- graduate experience in early childhood education (related fields include elementary education, early childhood, special education, psychology, family consumer sciences, home economics, social work, social services); and/or directly or relevant working experience in child development center; or Bachelorβs degree in early childhood education/child development.
Infant-child CPR is preferred/First Aide experience is desired/recent TB skin test is preferred. Basic computer skills: knowledge of MS-Office Suite, Office 365; or Apple,- iMac iWork Office Suite.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
State license which requires passage of a criminal background check, child protective services, drug test, proof of immunizations and passage of the stateβs training program for childcare providers. Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) through the American Red Cross within 30 days of employment; successful completion of pre-employment physical, and other requirements for licensing with the Alabama Department of Human Resources.
